What is Axon Week?

Axon Week is the inception of one event merging TASERCON and Accelerate. This is the first ever bridge between public safety’s premier technology and training conferences. Geared toward public safety professionals, event programming will include expert breakout sessions, world-class keynotes, state-of-the-art experiences, and the opportunity to get hands-on training with Axon’s latest products.

Does that mean you aren’t having TASERCON or Accelerate?

Axon Week is a new conference that combines two Axon events: Accelerate & TASERCON. Two Conferences. One week. One ticket. Double the value and opportunity for Axon customers.

When and where is Axon Week?

Axon Week is April 22-26, 2024 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Florida.

Who should attend Axon Week?

Axon Week is designed for traditional Accelerate and TASERCON attendees interested in public safety technology and training. It is for all members of public safety, including but not limited to law enforcement, fire, EMS, corrections, justice, federal, private and campus security and even commercial attendees. Axon Week welcomes attendees from around the globe. Anyone who is interested in technology and training to protect life and accelerate justice is encouraged to attend Axon Week.

Legal Summit

Who should join the Legal Summit?

All attorneys and support staff advising or representing federal or state public agencies, law enforcement, corrections personnel, or security personnel.

Who will be the guest speakers at the Legal Summit?

We have gathered experts from around the country to share their insights and vast experience in the areas of policy, training, use of force, medical causation, and Section 1983 litigation, with a focus on specific considerations and strategies in cases relating to TASER energy weapons and body worn camera evidence.

Can I receive a refund if I am unable to attend?

Yes, full refunds are available up to 10 days prior to event (April 12, 2024). Please contact events@axon.com to receive a refund for your ticket

Programming

What is an overview of programming for this year?

Axon Week will include thought-provoking keynote speakers, an array of valuable breakout sessions, networking opportunities, recognition and awards, a legal symposium, federal opportunities, spouse programming, sponsor activations and numerous add-on certifications and workshops!

What type of sessions can I expect?

Attendees will leave Axon Week with a deeper understanding of Axon’s products, partners and solutions. Sessions will feature hands-on training with subject matter experts, topical thought leadership, professional and personal development tools, and inspirational content about the future of public safety from industry visionaries.

Can I speak or propose a speaker for Accelerate?

Are there any training opportunities? Is that a separate ticket?

Yes, we will be offering various certifications and workshops as add-on options to the core conference ticket. These include Body-Worn Camera Certification, TASER 10 Certification, Axon Investigate Operator Course, Force Science De-Escalation Instructor Course and a Pulse Graph Certification.

Accommodations

Are there any hotel discounts available?

Miami Beach is a small community with numerous boutique hotels. Axon has secured multiple room blocks in the area for Axon Week attendees that span a range of price points.

These hotels include:
- Loews Miami Beach Hotel (Axon Week’s hub hotel)
- Royal Palm South Beach, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
- The Lennox Hotel
- The Gale Hotel South Beach, a Doubletree by Hilton

We invite customers to mention Axon Week and ask if government rates are available. These rates may be offered by hotels at their own discretion and policy.

Will any meals be provided during the conference?

Yes, breakfast & lunch will be provided at Axon Week for all 3 conference days (Tuesday, 4/23-Thursday, 4/25) and also for those attending add-on courses Monday, 4/22 and/or Friday, 4/26.
